Dr. Alekcey Murillo and his wife, Dr. Judith Dunteman, have established a medical clinic in the jungles of Costa Rica. Their work is with the Cabecar Indians, an indigenous group who live on several thousand acres of land in the Chirripo Mountains of Costa Rica.  

Numerous teams from Village Parkway Baptist Church have traveled over the years to the jungles of Costa Rica to help with  building projects, Vacation Bible School (VBS) at the Cabecar school, micro lending projects, just to name a few of the projects we have led or been part of. It has been the desire of Alekcey and Judith to have people from Village Parkway return on a regular basis to maintain an ongoing relationship with the people of the community and the Cabecar Indians.
